Board of Directors
From time to time we have vacancies on our Board of Directors.  If you are interested in joining the Board, on a voluntary basis, please contact the Clerk

You do not have to be a parent of a child at the school to become a director as there are various categories.

Please click here to view ‘Qualifications and Disqualification Regulations for those Governing in an Academy’ document.

Please click here to access ‘Roles and Responsibilities’ document.

Director Vacancies
We have two vacancies on our Board of Directors – one Parent Director and an Appointed Director.  The roles and responsibilities of each category are the same.  Please see link above.
Parent Director/Governors are parents or carers of a pupil attending the school who are elected by the parents/carers to give a parental perspective in discussions and decisions.
Appointed Directors are appointed by the ‘Members’ of the Board.  You do not have to be a parent to apply for this role.
Directors bring a range of skills that will help them to contribute effectively to the work of the Board.  Experience of HR and/or finance would strengthen our Board at this time but please do not refrain from nominating yourself if your strengths lay elsewhere.

If you would like to know more about these opportunities please contact the Clerk (

If you are training to become a teacher and would like to visit for future reference, or indeed to discuss the possibility of work experience, please contact the school office.

We are very fortunate to have a team of volunteers who come into school on a regular basis to help some children with their reading. If you would like to volunteer, do let us know.
